The Panasonic HC-X1200 is a palm-sized 4K Camcorder. This has been achieved thanks to a thin fan that ensures heat dispersion while allowing the camera to remain as compact as possible.

High Quality, Mobility and Operability
The HC-X1200 features a 1/2.5-type 8.29M MOS Sensor and Venus Engine processing unit, allowing you to capture stunning video at up to 4K 60P 420-10bit (HEVC) while suppressing rolling shutter and reducing noise. The body of the camera weighs just 800g and boasts a high operability layout design for ease of operation.

All The Range You Need
The HC-X1200 comes equipped with a wide 25mm f1.8-4.0 lens that has been constructed from 14 elements in 11 groups, consisting of 5 aspherical lenses to ensure sharp and crisp images. The lens offers an optical zoom range of x24 as well as 4K High Precision AF, Face Detection AF/AE and 5-Axis HYBRID O.I.S. (UHD/FHD).

Two Manual Rings
The HC-X1200 features two manual rings so that you can easily adjust the focus with one and zoom with the other. Zoom speed can be varied according to the amount of pressure you apply to the zoom seesaw switch on the body.

Built-In ND Filters
The HC-X1200 comes with built-in ND Filters (ND4,16,64 or Clear). This is especially useful for filming with slower shutter speeds or wide-open apertures in very bright conditions.

Super Slow-motion Recording
It is possible to capture video at up to 120fps with high-speed AF and MF so that all your slow-motion footage is buttery smooth and always in focus.

The HC-X1200 is packed full of useful presets including 8 Gamma modes, 6 Scene files and other adjustment functions to ensure that you get the look you are after with a simple press of a button.

See In The Dark
The HC-X1200 features IR (Infrared) shooting so that you can capture all the action even when the lights are off. Great for wildlife and events.

Multiple Assist Functions
The camera also features a host of assist functions such as a Waveform Monitor, Vector Scope, Flash Band Correction, Zebra Pattern and Luminance Level Adjustment.

Ports Aplenty
The HC-X1200 comes equipped with an array of interfaces and connectivity ports for easy connection and transfer. This includes a HDMI output port that allows you to monitor UHD 4K video to a source of your choice as well as two SD card slots that can record simultaneously in MP4 format. There is even a USB-C port that allows you to charge the camera via a power bank when the power is switched off. This is great news for when you are working on location and have no access to a power source.

Integrated Stereo Microphone
The HC-X1200 features an integrated stereo microphone that is capable of capturing 48 kHz 16-bit audio. You also have the option to connect an external microphone via the 3.5mm stereo mini jack and monitor your overall audio via the headphone jack.

The HC-X1200 comes equipped with a 3.5” (2760K-dot) LCD with touch operation.
