Peak Design Everyday Backpack 30L - Kelp

The Peak Design Everyday Backpack 20L has been designed to carry all your camera gear while still being an incredibly useful everyday carry. It has been built around access, organization, expansion, and protection and has side and top access.

Fast top access has been made possible thanks to the unique MagLatch hardware as well as dual side access via two weatherproof side zips. Inside, 3 configurable FlexFold dividers help to keep photo, drone, or everyday gear organized and protected, while the exterior is a 100% recycled 400D weatherproof shell to keep everything safe.

MagLatch
Developed in-house, the MagLatch is specifically designed to be the best way to access equipment. The MagLatch is near-silent to use and can be opened and closed with just one hand, which is ideal for those on a busy shoot where one has to be quiet. The MagLatch also allows for the Everyday Backpack to store an additional 3L expansion on the 20L bag or 8L expansion on the 30L bag.

FlexFold Dividers
Included with the bag are three FlexFold dividers that help to keep your bag organised and your kit protected. The dividers, that connect to the bag with ultra-strong Velcro, give you the option of multiple configurations depending on your needs. They can be used as dividers or folded down as shelves to protect twice the number of pieces of equipment.

Side Access
The bag can be accessed both via the top MagLatch opening or via one of the side access panels which close via an UltraZip. Each zip has two zip pulls so that accessing your kit is easy whichever way you do it.

Ultra Durable, Security Zip
Access to the two side pockets is via an ultra-durable #8 zip. The zips are weatherproof to protect all your gear inside and feature loops that can be attached to the bag or each other as an anti-theft measure.

Dedicated Pockets
The bag comes with a plethora of pockets for all your packing needs. A dedicated laptop sleeve fits up to a 15” laptop and is adjustable with a Velcro pocket to allow any sized laptop up to 15” to fit inside the bag and be instantly accessible when you open the pocket.

Inside this pocket is also a 12.9” tablet or documents sleeve, whilst a variety of integrated pockets across the whole bag have space for keys, wallets, memory cards, cables, and more. Two side pockets are also expandable for larger items such as tripods and water bottles, and a dedicated bungee key tether.

Ultimate Comfort Straps
Designed with comfort in mind, the bag has a vented, quick-drying mesh with back padding for breathable comfort. The shoulder straps pivot at axial points to optimise comfort with all body types and the whole bag is designed for ergonomic comfort.

New to the backpack, the shoulder straps have magnets that hold the straps to the luggage pass-through section, ideal for when carrying the bag on a suitcase or holding the bag by one of the side straps.

The shoulder straps also come with an attachable sternum strap, and an additional hip strap can be attached for further carrying comfort. The hip strap is available separately.

Weatherproof
The bag is made out of a 100% recycled 400D weatherproofed nylon canvas shell. It is double PU-coated and DWR impregnated for extra protection. The base of the bag has an additional 900D waterproof bottom liner for extra protection and durability.

Carry Handles
Complete with three carry handles, one on the top and two on the side, the bag can be carried either as a backpack or briefcase-style. An additional luggage pass-through connects to the bag with a magnet and can be used to connect the new Peak Design padded hip belt (sold separately).

Capture Clip
Attach a Peak Design Capture Clip to multiple points on the bag for a secure and accessible way of getting to your camera. Perfect for always being ready for that shot.
